| Consolidated Goldfields controls 100% ownership of three properties in northern Idaho, the East Showstorm, National, and the East Wallace, each located in the eastern portion of the historic Coeur d’Alene Mining District. Mining has been conducted in the Coeur d’Alene Mining District for more that 100 years and is one of the few documented mining areas worldwide to have produced over one billion ounces of silver along with other precious metals. Also often referred to as the Silver Valley Mining District, the estimated value (in historic prices) of the districts metal production through 1999 is in excess of $5.5 billion dollars. Major producing and past producing mines in the district include the Bunker Hill, Sunshine/Sterling, Lucky Friday/Hecla, Galena/USSilver, the Crescent/United Mining Group, Star Morning, and many others. |
